Our mission

Router Help is an independent knowledge base for home routers, modems, mesh Wi-Fi systems and private network gateways. Our goal is to make router administration easier to understand without assuming that every reader has networking experience.

What we publish

We publish router IP directories, login instructions, device brand guides, Wi-Fi setup tutorials and troubleshooting information. Topics include finding a default gateway, opening the admin panel, changing wireless settings, reviewing connected devices, updating firmware and resolving common access problems.

How we approach accuracy

Router interfaces vary by model, hardware revision, firmware, region and internet provider. We avoid presenting a single credential or menu path as universal. Readers should confirm sensitive details through the router label and official manufacturer or provider documentation.

Independent and manufacturer-neutral

Router Help is not owned, sponsored or endorsed by any router manufacturer, internet service provider or telecommunications company. Product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and informational purposes.

What we cannot do

We cannot remotely log in to, repair, unlock or configure a visitor's router. The website cannot see local devices, Wi-Fi passwords or router settings. Private IP links open directly between the visitor's browser and the connected router.

Corrections

Router firmware changes over time. We welcome correction reports that include the exact model, hardware revision, firmware or provider and the page URL. Never send passwords, Wi-Fi keys, serial numbers or unredacted screenshots containing sensitive data.

Responsible use

Only access networks and devices that you own or are authorised to manage. Back up important settings before advanced changes and contact the internet provider when a modification could affect internet, telephone or IPTV services.
